Welcome to the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care (ASPC)

This Association is for all those who perform surgical procedures in the community. We provide support, training and professional development to our members. We host an annual conference and run an accredited audit programme.

Membership is open to all who have an interest in developing such services; be that in medical, nursing, commissioning or related sectors.

Message from ASPC’s

New President – Mr Vijay Kumar

Firstly I’d like to thank you all for electing me as the new President of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care.

I am greatly humbled and honoured to be given this opportunity to serve all the Members.  I am aware the organisation has changed considerably since it was founded in 2006.  I joined the Council a few months after it was formed.  I have worked under the tulege of previous President’s both Mr. Raj Dhumale (founding President) and Dr Laurel Spooner, who has done a fantastic job over the last four years.   It will be a hard act to follow in their footsteps; however, I shall do my best in working with you to serve ours and our patients’ interest.
