Dr. Raj Dhumale

Dr Raj Dhumale commenced offering surgical services from a GP setting in 1994. He was the first GP to perform and offer hernia surgery in the UK from a GP surgery.
He was awarded the ‘Doctor of the Year’ in 1997 for this innovative service in Primary care.
He is a Council member of the British Association of Day Surgery and a member of the American and European Hernia Societies.
